Jim Cardwell, Co-Founder
Jim currently serves as the CFO / COO at Doug Yates Towing & Recovery (“Doug Yates”). Doug Yates is a regional towing company based in Chattanooga, TN. Previously he worked at UBS Investment Bank as an analyst in the leveraged finance group. Advising and structuring large corporate buyouts for private equity sponsors. While at UBS he completed over $1B in debt financings for Fortune 500 companies, as well as private equity sponsors. He is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), where he played football. Earning a scholarship after walking on. In his free time, Jim enjoys spending time with his wife and two wild children at their farm. He is an avid golfer and always enjoys a competitive round with friends and co-workers.
Ashton Evans, Co-Founder
Ashton currently serves as Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis at Signal Energy, a solar EPC leader in renewable infrastructure based in Houston, TX. Prior to co-founding the firm, he also served as Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis at Metalworking Solutions, a regional industrial manufacturer. Ashton brings almost a decade of financial leadership experience, with a deep background in corporate finance, strategic planning, and data analytics. He has led financing activities in multiple private equity acquisitions, capital raises, and construction projects. Ashton holds a B.S. in Finance and an MBA with a concentration in Data Analytics from the University of Tennessee. In his free time, Ashton enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, trying new restaurants, and pretending he's just one swing away from the PGA Tour.
